Toothless At Last

Thursday, April 16, 2009

Doesn't he look oh so grown up?? My baby lost tooth "numero uno" today at recess. It happened with a little help from his best buddy and a playground ball aimed directly at the mouth. Apparently his friend was growing weary of him talking about it, wiggling it and discussing it for the last month and took matters into his own hands. Ben quickly forgave him when the collision of mouth and said ball resulted in an impending visit from the tooth fairy.

One Response to “Toothless At Last”

HI! Wish I had an e-mail to respond directly to your comment on my blog this afternoon, but since I don't, your comment page = next best thing. :-)

First, I can relate to the toothless kid -- We've been going through the toothfairy conundrum ourselves. It is a precious time -- we've opted for the "Visiting Rights Buy-Back Option" with toothfairy money! This is a new one to me. But genius!

I really just wanted to stop by and tell you how much I appreciate your "reading between the lines" of the "gossip" post on my blog. There aren't too many women who even care to acknowledge the truth of Genesis Chapter 3. I wrote a series of articles for our church on the subject and didn't exactly get rave reviews. Summed up: sin=pride=refusal to acknowledge Truth of God's Word.

At the very core of all human problems IS sin. You said it eloquently! THANK YOU.

I have Stasi Eldredge's book on my shelf, but haven't read it cover to cover. Thank you for the reminder!

You have a wonderful blog. Love that chicken recipe and HURRAY for participating in the TEA parties.

God Bless you and your family!!
